I was delighted to open the ITBA webinar on Climate Action recently and I share the recording below.
Many people might not think of the equine sector when we talk about agriculture’s role in climate change mitigation, but this sector is well placed to make a significant contribution to achieving national emission reduction targets, and for improving our farm biodiversity, and in my address I congratulated the ITBA and the equine sector at large for taking the initiative on Climate Action.
I felt privileged to be in the company of the other contributors Professor John Sweeney, Professor Jim McAdam, John Geraghty and David O’Connell.
